SAIF KZN Hosted a Workshop on the Fundamentals of Fundraising, "Hook Them & Hold Them" in Scottburgh on 26th May 2010. Candidates in the Fundraising Field from as far as Kokstad and Zululand flocked in to gain skills on how to attain funders and how to hold onto them!!

The Southern Africa Institute of Fundraising (SAIF) has provincial branches in the country one of which is situated in KZN.

Our function is to create for non profit organizations and fundraisers:

A networking forum

A fundraising resource base

A stimulus for fundraising activities

An educational and training resource

A “watchdog” that ensures all members adhere to fundraising ethics

Annually we offer “Tea and Tips” sessions which provide fundraisers with relevant information on fundraising. We offer training too and we celebrate our work with an end of year function.
